Things haven't gone particularly well this season for either the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Sacramento Kings. Both are currently on losing streaks and both are currently out of the playoff picture with precious few games remaining in the shortened NBA season.

The Timberwolves especially have been ravaged by injuries lately, the big one being that ACL tear on Ricky Rubio that was partially to blame for them being so badly out of the playoff picture that they had valiantly hung on to before the all star break. Now, they find themselves four games below .500 with the playoffs starting to fade faster with each passing day.

Fortunately, they still have Kevin Love.

Love has done quite well this season against the Kings, with Minnesota 2-1 on the season series against Sactown. The home team has won every single game of the series so far, so the Kings may have the advantage this time around unless Love can put in a brilliant performance. Not that it's a stretch to say he will, brilliant performances have just been the Kevin Love style this year. He's got a formidable foe in Demarcus Cousins to match in scoring and rebounding, though. Watch the duel between the two of them; as both of those guys go, these two teams go lately.

The game will be at Power Balance Pavilion at 10:00 p.m. ET.
