Nuggets Vs. Timberwolves: Minnesota Falls, 131-102 In Season Finale

The Minnesota Timberwolves closed the 2011-2012 NBA season with a 131-102 loss to the Denver Nuggets Thursday night at Target Center.

Jose Barea led all scorers with 20 points, but seven Nuggets finished in double figures as Denver shot a whopping 62.9 percent from the floor (56-for-89). JaVale McGee led the Nuggets with 19 points, while Arron Afflalo recorded 18 points and Danilo Gallinari added 17 points.

With the loss, the Timberwolves end the 2011-2012 season with a record of 26-40, the ninth-worst in the NBA. The Nuggets finished the season with a 38-28 record. They secured the sixth seed in the Western Conference and will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
