Timberwolves Vs. Warriors: Minnesota And Golden State Both Try To End Losing Streaks

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors will both try to snap lengthy losing streaks when the teams face off on Wednesday night.

At this point, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors are just trying to play out the stretch. Both teams are just about completely out of the playoff picture and there's no reason to expect any miraculous runs if recent form is to be believed. The two teams combined have lost nine straight games (six straight for Golden State and three for Minnesota) as they prepare to face each other on Wednesday night.

The Warriors have been starting three rookies in their line up recently with very little depth or straight up talent to speak of since they dealt Monta Ellis to the Milwaukee Bucks. They have lost 11 of their 13 games since the deadline and that trade occurred. Minnesota has had problems of its own with injuries plaguing the Wolves line up all through March.

Kevin Love should give the Wolves the slight advantage at home. They finished their last three game losing streak on March 19 with a win over the Warriors, 97-93.

The game will be at the Target Center at 8:00 p.m. ET.
