The Minnesota Timberwolves will not have a single ping pong ball in the 2012 NBA Draft Lottery, but Wednesday night is a big night for 14 other teams around the league. The Timberwolves would have had a lottery pick (the No. 11 spot to be exact), but that pick now belongs to the New Orleans Hornets.
Minnesota will have the No. 18 pick in the NBA Draft, but here are the details for the lottery on Wednesday night:
WHAT: 2012 NBA Draft Lottery
WHERE: Times Square, New York City
WHEN: May 30, 2012
TIME: 8 p.m. ET
TV: ESPN
Following the lottery, Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals will tip off. The Miami Heat lead the Boston Celtics 1-0 in the series after a relatively easy Game 1 victory behind the play of, you guessed it, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
