NBA Mock Draft: Chad Ford Predicts Terrence Ross To Timberwolves

The beauty of the 2012 NBA mock drafts for Minnesota Timberwolves fans is that there are very few chances that the team can make a huge mistake. Not only are they choosing at the point of the Draft where the studs are going to be gone, lessening the chance of a screw-up, the team is just lucky to have a first round pick this year after initially trading their own away.

The explanation above is essentially all for naught when it comes to analyzing the most recent mock from ESPN's Chad Ford, however, as he predicts David Kahn will fall into an almost-ideal scenario with Washington Huskies wing Terrence Ross.

The Timberwolves' biggest need is to put a shooter in the backcourt with Ricky Rubio. Ross is not only a sharpshooter from 3-point land, but he is also a great athlete and has great size for his position. He's a steal at 18.

The odds of this happening probably aren't as great as many would hope after reading the reasons Ross is a good fit, but it's fine to hope this time of year.
