NBA Mock Draft: Second Round Leaves Timberwolves With Options

We are just two days away from the 2012 NBA Draft and, while the mock drafts are still changing every day, teams are getting a better idea of who will be available and who they will target.

This is true in the first round, at least. Late in the second round, things are more unpredictable. Still, mock drafts require 60 predictions and, in his latest, ESPN's Chad Ford has the Minnesota Timberwolves picking UAB forward Cameron Moore at No. 58:

Moore is an athletic rebounder/shot-blocker who would be 20 spots higher if he added another 20 pounds to his frame. While the Wolves do have size, they really need athletes in their frontcourt.

Moore likely isn't a player who can contribute right away, but some team may take a chance on his athleticism on Thursday night. That team could very well be the Timberwolves -- the third to last pick in the draft is a spot where they will have numerous options. If they decide to take a flier on someone with more potential than polish, Moore fits the bill.
