NBA Trade Rumors: Timberwolves Willing To Move Everyone But Ricky Rubio And Kevin Love

In anticipation of the 2012 NBA Draft on Thursday night, Minnesota Timberwolves general manager David Kahn held a press conference with the collective Minnesota media contingent on Wednesday.

At one point, Kahn was asked whether he saw forward Derrick Williams as a possible piece in a trade to improve the team. In answering the question, Kahn went well above a simple yes or no answer.

Via ESPN 1500:

"I think the best way to answer that is that Kevin (Love) and Ricky (Rubio) are cornerstones, and I hope that they retire here someday," Kahn said. "That's not to say everybody falls into then some other bucket of, well, woe to them, not sure what will happen. There's different degrees.

[...] We have two untouchables, that doesn't mean that everybody else is going to be traded this summer, it doesn't mean that ... we just don't know."

Minnesota traded the No. 18 overall selection to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Chase Budinger on Tuesday. Apparently, it may be the first of a few moves by the team this offseason.
