Louis Amundson Reportedly Signs With Timberwolves

Journeyman center Louis Amundson has signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

The Timberwolves will be the sixth team in Amundson's seven year career. He has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers. Last season for Indiana, Amundson played in 60 games, averaging 3.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in 12.6 minutes.

Amundson joins Nikola Pekovic and Greg Stiemsma at the center position in Minnesota.

Amundson is only one of a number of players added by the Minnesota Timberwolves this offseason. Building around the core of point guard Ricky Rubio and power forward Kevin Love, the Timberwolves added forwards Andrei Kirilenko,Dante Cunningham and Chase Budinger, guard Brandon Roy and center Greg Stiemsma.
