On Friday afternoon, general manager David Kahn formally introduced Andrei Kirilenko as the newest member of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The T'wolves signed Kirilenko to a two-year, $20 million deal back in July, and the veteran forward has since said his decision to come to Minnesota was fueled by his admiration for head coach Rick Adelman.
Here is a bit of what went down during the introductory presser for Kirilenko, courtesy of the team's Twitter account:
AK: Adelman explained that I was an important piece of the team. Another factor is Alex Shved being here. A young, promising team.

Kahn: He doesn't need plays to be run for him, yet he'll be effective scoring. He does a lot of everything. We are thrilled.
