Yankees Get a Sac Fly Of Their Own, Game Now Tied 1-1

The Yankees have hit a few pretty good shots off of Carl Pavano so far, but it has only amounted to one run.

In the top of the fourth, Curtis Granderson led off with a double, and moved to third on a single by Mark Teixeira. Alex Rodriguez then lined one to Jason Kubel in right, and the ball was deep enough to score Granderson from third on the sac fly.

After Robinson Cano singled to right to put runners on the corners, Pavano induced a double play ball from Nick Swisher, and the threat was squelched.

As we now move to the top of the fifth inning, the Twins and Yankees are tied at one.
