Berkman Takes Pavano Deep, Yankees Lead 2-1

With one out in the top of the fifth inning, Carl Pavano made what looked like a pretty good pitch to Yankees’ designated hitter Lance Berkman. But Berkman simply went down and got it, sending it over the wall in left-center field for a solo home run.

As we move to the bottom of the fifth at Target Field, the Yankees lead the Twins by a score of 2-1.
