In an effort to get more bullpen help after losing a couple of key pieces, the Twins have dealt catcher Jose Morales to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for left-handed pitcher Paul Bargas.
↵Bargas is 22 years old, and was pretty good for Class A Asheville last season, putting together a 5-4 record with a 3.59 ERA. In 67.2 innings pitched, he gave up 57 hits, walking 19 and striking out 64.
↵Morales played in 19 games for the Twins in 2010, seeing time at catcher, first base, and designated hitter. He batted .194 in 36 at-bats, driving in 7 runs.
