Cast Your Gaze Upon The Greatest Bobblehead Ever

New, 2 comments

Thanks to our own Bryan Reynolds for finding this on Twiter.

The bobblehead "craze" may or may not have seen its best days, but they're still nice little collectibles for people who are into that kind of thing. Well, the Twins' Facebook page has discovered what may be the greatest bobblehead of all time, and you can see it for yourself after the jump.

As any good Twins fan knows, this is the famous incident from the 1991 World Series when Twins' first baseman Kent Hrbek pulled Braves' outfielder Ron Gant off of first base fairly and squarely tagged Braves' outfielder Ron Gant out at first base in Game Two of the 1991 World Series.

I don't know. . .I think that's a bit too skinny to be Kent Hrbek. Otherwise, I love this bobblehead a lot, and if it comes to light that it's available for purchase anywhere, it will definitely become a part of my collection.

EDIT: Michael Rand of the Star-Tribune is reporting that this bobblehead will be part of an actual promotion. Announcements of such things will be made in mid-March.
