Cuddyer Out One To Two Weeks After Having Wart Removed

The Oscars were last night, but today "My Left Foot" took on a whole new meaning for Twins right fielder Michael Cuddyer.

Cuddyer will be out of action for as much as two weeks after having a wart removed from his left foot. He attempted to treat the wart with medication this winter, but it wound up getting infected.

(Man, that must have been one monster wart. Don't they make Compound W any more?)

Cuddyer is the longest-tenured player on the Twins, and played a few different positions for the Twins in 2010, settling in at first base after Justin Morneau suffered his concussion. He is in line to be the regular right fielder again for Minnesota in 2011.
