MLB Standings Update: Twins Still Trail The AL Central Pack

The Minnesota Twins still haven't won a series yet this season, they're still the lowest-scoring team in Major League Baseball, and their run differential, at -32, is baseball's worst.

So, based on that, you can probably figure out exactly where the Twins are located in the American League Central standings.

AL Central Standings

W L PCT GB STRK
Cleveland 13 6 .684 0 Lost 1
Kansas City 12 7 .631 1 Won 1
Detroit 9 10 .473 4 Won 1
Chicago 8 11 .421 5 Won 1
Minnesota 7 12 .368 6 Won 1

Indeed, the Twins still find themselves in last place. . .but as least they're starting to make up a bit of ground on some of the teams in front of them. The team still has a long ways to go, but at least they're threatening to get out of the division basement, which is more than we could say about them the last time we did a standings update.

The Twins will have a chance to make up some ground this weekend, as they return to Target Field to host a three-game series against the surprising Cleveland Indians. After playing 14 of their first 19 on the road, it will be nice for the Twins to get back to Minneapolis as they kick off a six-game homestand.
