Twins And Rays Postponed; Will Have Doubleheader On Thursday

For the third time this year, the Minnesota Twins have had a game postponed by rain. Unlike the other two times, however, we already know when this game will be made up.

Tuesday evening's game between the Twins and the Tampa Bay Rays will be made up on Thursday as part of a day-night doubleheader at Target Field. Here is the official statement from the Twins website.

Tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Rays has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The game will be made up on Thursday, April 28 at 7:10 p.m. as part of a split day-night doubleheader. The game scheduled for 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 will be played at its originally-scheduled time. Fans holding tickets to tonight's (April 26) game, should keep their tickets for admission into the rescheduled game (Thursday, April 28 at 7:10 p.m.).

That means that the Twins will have a doubleheader on Thursday, then head out of town to take on the Kansas City Royals over the weekend.

Minnesota's Wednesday game against the Rays at Target Field is still on as scheduled, with first pitch still set for 7:10 PM Central time. No word yet on what the pitching match-up will be.
