Twins And Rays To Start Series Wednesday Night

The Minnesota Twins and Tampa Bay Rays will try again to get their three-game series started at Target Field on Wednesday night, after rain washed out Tuesday night's efforts and set up a day-night doubleheader for Thursday.

The pitching match-up for this one will still be Francisco Liriano for the Twins and Wade Davis for the Rays, as we discussed in yesterday's preview. The Twins will be looking for their third consecutive win overall, and they'll be trying to get it against a Tampa Bay team that has won 10 of their last 13 games after starting the year by losing eight of their first nine. The Twins themselves have won five out of seven since starting the year at 4-10.

Be sure to keep an eye on the good folks over at Twinkie Town for their Game Thread to discuss all of the action of tonight's game, and head back over here when the game is over for the recap.
