Since the odds are pretty good that you aren't going to be able to make it to Cooperstown, New York, this afternoon to watch Bert Blyleven being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, you can do the next best thing and watch the ceremonies from the comfort of your own home.
The ceremonies will be covered by the MLB Network on the television side of things. If you're in the Twin Cities area, you can find the MLB Network on a few different providers. If you have Comcast, you can find it on either Channel 733 or in HD on Channel 873. DirecTV subscribers can flip to Channel 213, and those on the Sky Angel service can find the MLB Network on Channel 325. (If you're not in the Twin Cities area, you can always find out where you can find the MLB Network on your provider through the MLB Network website.)
If you don't have any of those providers, you can head on over to MLB.com, where they will be streaming the broadcast of the ceremony live through their website. For both this broadcast and the aforementioned television broadcast, the network will start their coverage at 10:30 AM Central time, with the ceremonies themselves getting underway at 12:30 PM Central time.
For those of you that will be traveling and are fortunate enough to have satellite radio in your vehicle, SiriusXM will be covering everything for you beginning at 12:00 PM Central time. If you're a Sirius subscriber, move your dial to Channel 209. XM subscribers can tune in on Channel 89.
There are numerous ways for Twins fans out there to watch or listen to one of the greats in franchise history get inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully as many of you as possible will be able to tune into the ceremonies in some form or fashion.
