There are plenty of reasons to love that the Minnesota Twins switched to playing their home games at Target Field instead of the Metrodome, but baseball is still being played at The Homer Dome. In fact, the Minnesota Golden Gophers baseball team will play there this weekend as part of the 2012 Dairy Queen Classic.
The Gophers haven't played a conference game yet this season, but are 3-4 with a pair of wins over Wisconsin-Milwaukee along with a 7-3 victory over Louisville last weekend. They have a chance to make a big dent in the win-column this weekend, however, with home games scheduled against Nebraska, West Virginia and New Mexico State.
If there are fans out there looking for more reasons to check out the Gophers baseball team this weekend, the roster made a video with their Top 10 reasons to love the Metrodome.
Shall we give it an A for effort?
