Reggie Williams Is Not A Fan Of Homosexuals, Is A Minnesota Twins Prospect

Every once in awhile there's a young athlete that says something stupid, making everyone cringe as they watch an otherwise promising person disgrace himself. The most recent athlete to dig himself into a public relations nightmare is Reggie Williams, a Class A prospect of the Minnesota Twins.

Williams was drafted by the Twins in 2007 and put together at .256 batting average between Fort Myers and Beloit last year, meaning he probably isn't the best prospect in the system from a baseball standpoint. As Deadspin pointed out on Saturday night, he probably isn't helping himself in the public relations battle either.

Look, being intellectually curious is one thing. Wondering aloud why there are so many gay people, referring to them as an abomination to God, equating some gay PDA with smoking crack in public and trotting out the old gay people all have AIDS thing, is quite another-certainly not a Hall Of Fame person thing to do.

To learn more about the Twins prospect and his takes on homosexuals in the world, be sure to follow him on Twitter.
