As expected, Joe Mauer is being held out of Monday night's lineup against the Los Angeles Angels. Mauer is pretty sore after being hit in the left knee by a foul tip on Sunday, but Ron Gardenhire said he expects Mauer to be back in the lineup on Tuesday night.
