The Minnesota Twins have been gifted four runs and had a 5-1 lead going into the bottom of the second inning, but Nick Blackburn allowed the Tigers right back into it and didn't make it back out to the mound in the home half of the third.
After getting the lead off hitter in the second on strikes, Blackburn proceeded to walk Ryan Raburn and give up five straight singles that plated four runs. Prince Fielder capped off the five-run inning for the Tigers by hitting a sacrifice fly and just like that the Tigers were up 6-5.
Blackburn was relieved by Jeff Gray after the Twins tied the game in the top of the third.
Brian Dozier has a three-run home run and Josh Willingham has two hits for the Twins, upping his batting average to .298 on the season.
