Drew Butera Is Basically The Minnesota Twins' Best Player

The Minnesota Twins don't have a lot of bright spots on the roster right now, but Drew Butera is looking to change that. The third-year Twin might not yet be No. 1 in the hearts of the Minnesota faithful, but that could soon be changing.

Okay, that probably isn't changing ... but he is leading the team in more categories than one would expect following his surprise relief appearance over the weekend.

Our friend Jesse over at Twinkie Town pointed out that Butera leads the Twins in ERA (0.00), batting average (.360), opponent OPS (.250), on-base percentage (.429) and batting average on balls in play (.391).

Those statistics are subject to change considering he's played in just nine game this year and the pitching numbers come from a single inning, but that does leave some room for optimism (or pessimism, if you are the internet's Kyleb_82).
