Liam Hendriks Will Get Saturday Start For Twins

Liam Hendriks appears to be back in business with the Minnesota Twins. After an ineffective start to the season that saw the Aussie pitcher pick up a 9.00 ERA, he was sent down to AAA but has pitched effectively down there with a 5-0 record and 1.94 ERA.

With Carl Pavano out on the DL for a long term stay with shoulder issues that have been plauging him all season long along with a bunch of other pitchers injured, PJ Walters being the most recent, the Twins are scrapbooking together a rotation a day at a time. According to Twincities.com, the Twins will be pulling up Hendriks from AAA to take the start on Saturday.

They still don't have a fifth starter announced for the foreseeable future, but won't need one until next Saturday since they have Monday off.
