On Friday night, the Minnesota Twins will open their final interleague series of the season when they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Reds for the first game of a three-game weekend set. Coming off of a rough stretch of games last week, the Twins are 2-2 this week and will look to finish off the stretch with a winning flair.

Losers of their last three series, it's been exactly two weeks since the Twins last won a series and will look to end that run against the Reds.

Cincinnati will look to avenge a rough streak of losses as well, as the team is coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of the Cleveland Indians where the team scored eight or more runs in two separate games.

The projected starters for Friday night are Nick Blackburn (3-4, 7.48 ERA) and Homer Bailey (5-4, 4.03 ERA).
