You may or not be familiar with Jeff Manship, the right-handed reliever for the Minnesota Twins who was recalled on May 27. You may not recall his first appearance with the team since then, but you might be remembering his second one. Manship came into Wednesday night's game against the Kansas City Royals in the sixth inning and had a scoreless inning to his credit.
Then, he returned to the dugout and promptly was harassed by his teammates (in a fun, teammate-y kind of way, ya know?). The source of this harassment? The fact that some equipment manager didn't catch a mistake on Manship's jersey. They spelled his name "MANSIHP" and to their credit, he himself didn't notice either, so there's that.
Pretty funny that he didn't notice it prior to the inning to say the least. CJ Fogler had a picture of the Manship Mishap on his Twitter account, so be sure to go check it out here. It's also embedded after the jump.
