Twins Vs. White Sox: Chicago Completes Sweep In Dominating Fashion, 8-2

On Wednesday afternoon, the Minnesota Twins lost the third and final game of their mid-week series with the Chicago White Sox by a score of 8-2. The game followed a similar pattern as two that came before it as the White Sox had little trouble finding their offensive touch against the hapless Twins.

In fact, Chicago outscored Minnesota 26-10 over the course of the three game set.

Twins starter Nick Blackburn was pegged with the loss as he allowed eight earned runs on 10 hits, which included two, two-run home runs in 4.1 innings pitched. Jake Peavey improved his record to 8-7 by allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits in six innings pitched with six strikeouts.

White Sox left fielder Dayan Viciedo finished the game with four RBI on three hits, including one of the two-run home runs.
