Denard Span continues to miss time for the Twins, so he's undergoing multiple tests on his right shoulder to determine the problem.
Span had an MRI on his collarbone on Monday and will have an MRI on the shoulder on Tuesday, according to LaVelle Neal of the Star Tribune. Neal said the purpose of the MRIs are for "peace of mind" for both Span and the Twins.
Span expressed his frustration with the shoulder soreness before Sunday's game. From MLB.com:
"I just need to get where I can swing without feeling anything," Span said. "I haven't had anything like that yet. Yesterday started off good, and then it started bothering me. I feel like it's moving in a positive way, but it's starting to get a little frustrating, to be honest with you."
