The Minnesota Twins begin one last homestand on Monday when they open a three-game series against the New York Yankees. Minnesota will play its next six games at home and then finish up its 2012 season in Toronto.
The Yankees enter the week with a tenuous hold on first place in the AL East, and they'll be looking to solidify their position with a strong finish.
The Twins will start Liam Hendriks (1-7, 5.88 ERA) on the mound, and the Yankees are scheduled to throw Andy Pettitte (4-3, 2.97). Hendriks is coming off his first win of the season, which came in a 6-4 slugfest over the Indians on Sept. 19.
Monday's Game Time: 7:10 p.m. CT
TV: FOX Sports North
