Twins Vs. White Sox Final Score: Minnesota Can't Climb Out Of Early Hole In 4-2 Loss

The White Sox scored two runs in the bottom of the second, and the Twins weren't able to come back, ultimately falling 4-2 in Chicago Monday night.

Samuel Deduno allowed the two runs over six innings in the start and was hit with the loss. Deduno gave up six hits and three walks while striking out three. Both runs came on a home run from Gordon Beckham.

In the fifth inning, Jamey Carroll hit a solo home run to cut the deficit in half. A single from Paul Konerko in the seventh extended the lead to 3-1. The Twins got a run back in the top of the eighth, but Chicago answered in the bottom frame.

Carroll went 2-for-3, while Chris Parmelee went 2-for-4. Kyle Waldrop and Casey Fien each allowed an earned run in one inning of relief. The Twins are now 3-10 against Chicago this season.
