Minnesota Vikings 7, Washington Redskins 7 - Peterson Plays A Starring Role

Apparently, the Vikings intend to do today something they should have been doing a lot more leading up to this point. . .featuring running back Adrian Peterson.

The Vikings moved the ball 71 yards in seven plays to answer the Redskins opening drive on what is definitely their best opening drive of the year. Peterson played the main role on the drive, catching a screen pass for 34 yards and carrying it on three occasions for 18 more. The drive ended with Peterson bulling into the end zone from five yards out for the score.

The Vikings’ drive took 3:46 to complete.

With 3:21 remaining in the first quarter, the Vikings and Redskins are tied at seven.
