Minnesota Vikings 7, Washington Redskins 7 - We Go To Halftime

Well, after both teams scored on their first possession, there’s been a whole lot of punting going on in the nation’s capital, as neither team has scored or turned the ball over since that time.

The Vikings got a bit of a scare in the second quarter when Redskins’ linebacker Lorenzo Alexander fell on the ankle of running back Adrian Peterson. Peterson went to the sideline to have the ankle checked, and appeared to be ready to go back into the ball game on the Vikings’ final drive, but remained on the sideline in favor of Toby Gerhart. I’d be shocked if he didn’t start the second half for the Vikings, who will get the ball coming out of the locker room.

One half of football into the Leslie Frazier era, and the Vikings and Redskins are tied at 7.
