The Vikings took the good field position they were given, and put the ball where they need to. . .into the end zone.
A nice job of passing by Brett Favre on the drive. . .he started out with a slant to Bernard Berrian for 18 yards, and followed that up with a bullet to Percy Harvin over the middle for 25 more. After a pretty disgusting delay of game penalty, Favre dropped back on second and goal, hit Peterson on a swing pass out of the backfield, and the NFL’s best running back did the rest, taking it in from 13 yards out.
Vikings scoring drive lasted 5 plays, moved 52 yards, and took 2:43 off of the clock.
Just over 12 minutes to go before halftime, and the Vikings lead 7-0.
