The Cardinals had 39 yards of offense just before their most recent drive. So, it only makes sense that they took the ball 81 yards for a touchdown in order to take their first lead of the afternoon.
The Vikings had the Cardinals backed up in a third and 19 situation, but Derek Anderson found Larry Fitzgerald. . .who, for some reason, was wide open. . .for a 30-yard gain. Shortly thereafter, Anderson found Andre Roberts for a 30-yard touchdown, the first of Roberts’ career.
So, it looks like the Cardinals will take the lead into halftime by a score of 14-10. The chants of “fire Childress” are getting louder as we move along.
