Pete Prisco is in charge of the Power Rankings over at CBS Sports. If you’ve ever read any of his stuff, or followed his Twitter feed, you know that he really doesn’t much care for the Minnesota Vikings. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything positive about the Vikings come from his keyboard.
So, it’s a bit of a surprise to me that Prisco has actually moved the Vikings up a spot in his Power Rankings, too. . .all the way from number 22 to number 21.
It took a heck of a rally to save their season against the Cardinals. They still have a long way to go, but it was a start. It might have saved Brad Childress’ job — for now.
So many of these people think that the comeback had something to do with saving Brad Childress’ job. I’d have to respectfully disagree with a lot of that assessment, but that’s another discussion for another time.
