Brett Favre 'Questionable" For Vikings' Game Against Giants

Vikings quarterback Brett Favre did not throw during today’s practice, and Minnesota has officially listed him as “questionable” for this Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, reports ESPN:

Favre, suffering from a sprained SC joint in his throwing shoulder, had his helmet on at practice and took four snaps Friday, but did not throw. Favre handed off with his left hand twice and then took two dropbacks.

Interim head coach Leslie Frazier told reporters Favre will be a game-time decision. He has made 297 consecutive starts, a streak this injury surely jeopardizes.

Tavaris Jackson would get the nod if Favre can’t go, which must upset the folks at Daily Norseman, SB Nation’s Vikings blog. “My faith in Tavaris Jackson as a starting quarterback is…low,” writes DN contributor Skol Girl.
