The season just continues to get stranger for the 2010 Minnesota Vikings.
The National Football League has just announced that the game between the Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles. . .which was supposed to be played tonight after getting flexed into NBC’s prime-time Sunday slot a couple of weeks ago. . .will now be played on Tuesday night at 7 PM Central time due to the blizzard conditions that are occurring on the East Coast.
I’m not sure when the last time the NFL played a game on Tuesday was. . .I’m pretty certain that it’s been a while. . .but it’s only right that the 2010 Minnesota Vikings are involved with such a thing after all the craziness that this team has been through this season.
No word on television arrangements or anything like that yet, but as this game was set to be broadcast on NBC and since it won’t have an ESPN game to compete against like the game against the Giants a couple of weeks ago did, NBC could easily broadcast this one on a national scale as planned.
