Vikings, Again, Trail Early; Lions 7, Vikings 0

The Vikings’ defense has come to play today, but when you allow another team to set up shop inside your red zone, even the best defenses won’t stop them.

After forcing three consecutive three-and-outs from the Lions, Brett Favre was attempting to throw a screen pass to Toby Gerhart, but it was intercepted by defensive lineman Corey Williams, who took it all the way down to the Minnesota 12-yard line. Three plays later, Shaun Hill found Tony Scheffler from five yards out for a touchdown, and the Vikings trail 7-0 with 3:04 left in the first quarter.

By the way, the pass by Favre was awful. Completely, totally, and utterly horrible.
