After the Lions’ Jason Hanson missed a 44-yard field goal for the Lions, the Vikings put together what might have been the best drive of the season.
With a good mixture of short passing and Adrian Peterson, the Vikings moved the ball 66 yards in nine plays, taking nearly six minutes to do so, and ended the drive with Peterson gliding in from six yards out.
This lead signifies the first lead that the Vikings have had since halftime of their season opener. Yeah. . .that’s a long time.
With a little more than two minutes left until halftime, the Vikings lead the Lions 14-7.
