Week 6 NFL Power Rankings: National Football Post Moves Vikings Up Five

The Minnesota Vikings were second-to-last in the Power Rankings put out by the National Football Post last week, but they've taken a pretty sizable jump in the NFP's Week 6 NFL Power Rankings. Minnesota has managed to jump up five spots in the NFP's rankings, going from 31 all the way up to 26.

Granted, 26 is still pretty low. . .but it's a heck of a lot better than 31.

In their commentary, the NFP decides to go down the "stating the obvious" road with their praise of the guy that's probably the best non-quarterback in the National Football League.

Despite the issues in Minnesota, we were once again reminded why Adrian Peterson is top RB in the NFL.

He certainly is. Currently, in terms of rushing yards, Peterson trails only Oakland's Darren McFadden, and he is tied for the NFL lead in rushing touchdowns with Chris Wells of the Arizona Cardinals. Hopefully he will continue the track he's on this season and show everyone that he was worth the huge contract he got during the pre-season this year.
