Succop Hits From Long Range Again, 12-10 Chiefs

It’s Ryan Succop’s world; we’re all just living in it. The Chiefs kicker hit his fourth field goal of the day and second from beyond 50 yards to give Kansas City the lead.

The Chiefs had to start the drive from their own 7 yard line thanks to another special teams penalty, but they used the passing game to get into Minnesota territory. Cedric Griffin made a nice play and broke up a third down pass intended for Dwayne Bowe, but Succop snuck a 54-yard field goal inside the uprights to give Kansas City the lead once again with under six minutes left in the third quarter.
