Madden NFL 12 Roster Update, Week 7: Vikings Get Multiple ... Increases!?

The Madden NFL 12 roster and ratings update for post-week six is set to go live on Friday for Xbox 360 and PS3 users. The Minnesota Vikings found themselves on the losing end of a game against the Chicago Bears. They were ... firmly on the losing end, in fact. Yet, they find themselves with three players getting increases, two of them actually pretty significant. However, the increases can be explained, so it's not one of those weird Madden updates that you'll never be able to understand.

Chris Cook sees the most significant increase, jumping up from 69 overall to 74 overall. The roster update folks also shuffled the quarterback depth chart, as can be expected. For a list of Vikings changes, simply make the jump for 'em.

Increases

CB Chris Cook 69 to 74
WR Bernard Berrian 70 to 71
LB Erin Henderson 72 to 74

Decreases

None

Changes

QB Christian Ponder moved to QB #1 on depth chart
QB Donovan McNabb moved to QB #2 on depth chart
CB Chris Cook moved to CB #3 on depth chart
HB Adrian Peterson wears 2-bar facemask

Now, I'm not sure if they had Peterson's facemask wrong all this time or if he recently changed it, but that's pretty hilarious that the roster team couldn't get one of the best running backs in the NFL's helmet right, considering. The increases are warranted, and if Ponder plays well against the Packers, expect his rating to spike a few points. For a list of full changes from all teams, click here.
