To be honest, the whole Occupy Wall Street movement sweeping the nation has gone right over the head of your's truly thus far. Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe seems to have a pretty good grip on it, however, as the outspoken special teamer's band has even written a song about the world's social inequalities.
Kluwe did an interview with the Pioneer Press's Bob Sansevere on Thursday where they talked about all of the world's most pressing topics including, but not limited to: adult film stars, Christian Ponder, if there's any hope for the world as a whole and the possibility of an "Occupy Vikings" movement.
BS: What happens if there's an Occupy Vikings movement?
CK: I will join them. (Laughs.)
BS: You'll be out there?
CK: I will be out there picketing. We'll write a song for them. Actually, we just finished one that I think the Occupy Wall Street people will enjoy.
BS: Can you give me a line from it?
CK: "Recession. Bankers scum. They get all. We get some. Rise up. Occupy. Rich stay rich. Sick. Die."
I like to think those lyrics aren't as dark as they seem, but with the way the Vikings season is currently progressing, it's pretty tough to be an optimist about anything at this point.
