The 2011 NFL season has gotten off to an incredibly ugly start for the Minnesota Vikings, as we can see in the latest National Football League standings.

As things sit right now, here's what it looks like in the NFC North.

Generally, in a league with as much parity as the NFL, it's pretty tough to declare a team's season to be over after just four games. However, the only two undefeated teams remaining in the National Football League both just happen to reside in the NFC North, and the Vikings have already lost to one of them once.

The Vikings are now just one of four teams in the NFL that have yet to taste victory this season, along with the St. Louis Rams, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Miami Dolphins. The Vikings' weren't expected to be a part of the "Suck for Luck" crowd. . .referencing Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, who is the consensus top pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. . .but it looks like they're firmly entrenched in the race now.

And if things don't start turning around soon, they might just find themselves in victory lane when the season is over. I'll leave it to you, dear reader, to determine whether or not that's good or bad.
