Week 5 NFL Power Rankings: Vikings Take Huge Nose Dive At National Football Post

Last week, we didn't get to the rankings over at the National Football Post, but after their first three tough losses, the Vikings were sitting at number 22 in their rankings. However, a loss to one of the only other winless teams in the NFL changed that in a hurry, as the Vikings plummeted by nine spots in their Week 5 NFL Power Rankings, crash landing at number 31.

In their commentary, the NFP folks state the obvious.

Time to sit McNabb? Maybe, but there are more issues than just the QB position in Minnesota.

Yep. . .the Minnesota Vikings currently have more issues than your local newsstand. (Do people still go to newsstands?) But, as we said before, there's no way this team should be this bad. It isn't as though they're without talent. . .they've just managed to be awful in the second half most of the season, which generally spells disaster in the National Football League.
