The Minnesota Vikings have a pretty big game coming up this weekend with the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. Luckily for the visiting underdogs, the Vikings shouldn't have to deal with any confounding injuries.
The only player that didn't practice on Thursday, according to the week's opening injury report, was Anthony Herrera. Herrera will likely not play on Monday night according to the good folks at 1500 ESPN.
Herrera suffered damage to the lateral collateral ligament in his left knee in the first Packers game and most likely will be replaced in the lineup by Joe Berger again on Monday.
"We're going to see what he's capable of doing," Frazier said. "Our trainers are telling me he's making progress. We'll see if he can get out this week and try at all. If he can, it'd be good for us. But we'll have to kind of take it day to day and just see where he is."
The only other two players to appear on Thursday's report were cornerbacks Antoine Winfield and Chris Cook. Winfield was a full participant while Cook, dealing with off the field issues, was sat -- he's not expected to return to the team anytime soon.
