Vikings At Packers Score Update: Green Bay Extends Lead To 14-0

It's looking more and more like it's going to be a very long night for the Minnesota Vikings.

After having to punt again, the Packers took possession of the ball at their own 30-yard line. Even though the drive started with Jared Allen collecting another sack (giving him 13.5 on the year and a sack in 11 consecutive games), it wasn't enough to stop the Packers, who converted three third downs on the drive, and concluded things with a 24-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Greg Jennings. Mason Crosby's extra point gave the Packers a 14-0 lead, and we still have 5:02 left to play in the first quarter.

My advice, if at all possible, is to find your local Vikings' radio network affiliate or find a feed online or something and mute ESPN. Their commentary thus far is enough to induce vomiting for fans of the Minnesota Vikings.

You've been warned.

With 5:02 left in the first quarter, the Minnesota Vikings trail the Green Bay Packers, 14-0.
