Vikings At Packers Score Update: Green Bay Crushes Minnesota 45-7

The Packers trounced the Vikings 45-7 on Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field, emphatically extending their undefeated 9-0 start to the season while demoralizing and pushing the 2-7 Vikings even further into the depths of last place in the NFC North.

The game started with Randall Cobb returning a punt for a touchdown for the Packers following a three-and-out for Green Bay, foredooming the Vikings early on in a game that was nothing like the team's relatively competitive matchup in Minnesota earlier this season that Green Bay won 33-27.

Aaron Rodgers was nearly perfect, tossing four touchdowns on 23-30 passing for 250 yards while Christian Ponder was perpetually off target, completing 16-34 with no touchdowns. Quarterback was not the only position of difference, but the contrast between Rodgers and Ponder summed things up well.

The Packers never looked back after scoring the first time they touched the ball, adding 14 points in the first, third, and fourth quarters in a rout of such proportions that even backup Matt Flynn orchestrated a drive that ended in him running in for a three-yard touchdown, a fitting finish to a truly forgetful night for the Vikings.
