Saints At Vikings Score Update: Drew Brees Gets Touchdown Pass Number Five

If you're starting New Orleans Saints' quarterback Drew Brees in your fantasy football playoffs this week, I would like to take this moment to congratulate you on your victory.

Brees just hit his fifth touchdown pass of the afternoon, a 47-yarder to Lance Moore to complete a three-play, 53-yard drive. It is Moore's second touchdown of the afternoon, and it gives Brees the fourth five-touchdown game of his career. Brees is now 24-of-29 on the afternoon for 332 yards and five scores.

Contrast this to the Vikings' offense, where Christian Ponder has currently completed 4-of-12 attempts for 18 yards. . .10 of which came on a shovel pass to Toby Gerhart in the second quarter.

The afternoon got off to a decent start for the Minnesota Vikings, but things are getting ugly against one of the NFL's best teams.

With a little more than ten minutes left in the third quarter of play, the Minnesota Vikings trail the New Orleans Saints by a score of 35-13.
