Week 16 NFL Lines And Odds: Vikings Vs. Redskins

For more on the Vikings, visit SB Nation's Daily Norseman.

With the Indianapolis Colts winning their second straight game on Thursday night the Minnesota Vikings now have a chance at the No.1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. To reach that, they likely need losses in the final two games of the season. While it is not known what the Vikings would do with such a pick, SB Nation's official odds partner Oddsshark sees the Vikings as staying on track for the No. 1 picks as they are a seven point underdog at Washington:

The road team has won 6 of the last 8 meetings between the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins but the host Skins seem better equipped to win here in Week 16.Washington upset the Giants last week and appear primed to finish strong in 2011, while the Vikes seem ready to mail in the season sitting at 2-12.

The Vikings still need their strength of schedule to be worse than Indianapolis' to get the No. 1 overall pick, which seems unlikely as long as Indianapolis loses to Jacksonville.
